lyrics

Chester: Dark water below reveals nothing
Stars reflect on the black sea
The docks are empty at the midnight hour

Tim at my side, last glance behind
Onto deserted ship, Father’s boat now mine
In the morning he’ll know we’ve left here

Tim: Distant shouts and I whip around
Dock lights up with burning fury
We can’t give in, it’s just too early

Chester: We have been seen, hopes deflating
I’ve failed so soon, ready for my doom
Why did I think there was a way to prove myself

Tim: We’ve hardly just begun
Chester, get ahold of yourself, unfurl the sails, we must outpace them
And if we can’t we’ll turn and face them.
We’ve set our mind and we cannot change them

This is right, this is for you
For the world must belong to you

Pursuers fading fast
We are too far ahead
We will be back soon enough,
With glory in our hearts

Chester: All peaceful seas ahead, but turn around we’re dead
But it’s looking just fine
Now that my fear is gone, I know we’ll carry on
And I’m feeling all right

Tim: Discard your worry, discard your fear
We will see success coming our way
The sea is open and the sky is clear
This is the life we wish to lead, finally be freed
