The polluted waters of the Stygian marsh
Slosh and swirl about my knees
I try not to imagine what lies below
And board my boat from fear

From beneath the murky water
Flies attracted by death skim the surface

Lie the flaming tombs of the heretics
Disbelief has led them here for time immortal
To suffer for what they denied

Bodies grow tightly packed
Animated, shambling, or beyond movement
